CAZymes

CAZymes (Carbohydrate-active Enzymes) are enzymes that modify carbohydrates. They play important roles during (for examples) the degradation of lignocellulose, plant pathogenesis, and cell wall modifications.
CAZymes are subdivided into classes, families, and subclasses. The main classes are:
